Summer time fun!

This summer has been great so far, but my oh my is it flying by!!  The past week was gone in a flash as I had a garage sale with some sweet friends last Thursday & Friday.  Then Saturday morning we packed up the car & headed north to do a camping weekend with my family on the lake.  It was perfect weather for being at the lake & a great time with a lot of family, which I thoroughly enjoy :D  Then my 2 nieces came back home with us for a few days, which was also a riot!  I just really adore those girls & love the time I got to spend with them!  We had a lot of fun together!  Well, I did anyway :)

Last week & the week before, I did manage to find some time to make some more crafts!  I LOVE doing it & would love for it to turn into my job - we'll see what the Lord has planned.... !!  Some of my items will be at a shop in Hermantown next weekend, which I'm really hoping will be successful!  Here are some of the things I made recently:

This is 12" x 6" - not as big as it may look :)

This is 12" x 6"

Glass bottles wrapped in yarn of varying colors and then I added my own twist to them, with a variety of bling :)

I loved how they all turned out & can't wait to make some more :)  Let me know if you'd like me to do one for you in colors of your choice!

This was probably one of my favorites, as I recently got a bag full of buttons from my grandma's stuff & thought these 3 worked perfectly for this color yarn!  Again, I can't wait to do some more!

I love how this one turned out as well - the gem sparkles just perfectly (even if it doesn't show that much here :D )

I'd had this ribbon & flower for a while & hadn't quite found the right fit for it, but I think this worked out perfect!

I love how soft & elegant these large flower ones turned out - my friend bought them for her room and I hope they're perfect in there for her!!

I'm linking to these parties:

Thanks, Kelley for checking them out! The bottles were so fun to make & pretty easy as well! The cross was fun to do as well - it probably has about 5 coats of paint on it though, as it took some time to figure out the perfect color combo :D I will head over to your link party & link up right now :D Have a great day!

OMG, I have a bottle that I didn't want to throw away, but couldn't think of a use for it. Now, thanks to your wonderful post, I know exactly what I am going to do with my empty bottle. Thank you for the great idea.
